There are babies in the HOUSE!!
First, a Vixen update! Since her surgery, she is thriving! She is such a little miracle, and an inspiration to all who meet her!
When at the specialty center yesterday, we were told there were 2 week old puppies in the back with their mom who had been dumped. There was also a parvo puppy in isolation, and they were trying to find a foster home for the puppies before they caught the deadly virus.
Of course they came home with me. What else could I do?!
So, they don't have names yet, but here are the fab four. Their mother, CeCe is quite possibly the sweetest little momma you've ever met!! They are small breed babies...possibly havanese, shih tzu, something mixes? Whatever they are, they are OH SO CUTE, and OH SO KISSABLE! These guys won't be available for adoption for another 8 weeks or so, but watch for updates.
There are also some little beagle mix puppies coming to the house this weekend! Watch for updates on them too!

Please pray for Vixen
If you follow Husky House, you know we took in a sweet little new mother named Mistletoe just before Christmas. She had 8 gorgeous babies! Well, 2 days after they arrived safe and sound from Tennessee, they were all hospitalized.
As of today, 2 sweet babies passed away, 5 are out and doing great, but little Vixen is still in the hospital. She's suffered some complications and is going into surgery today to have part of her tail and one of her hind legs amputated. She isn't really strong enough for surgery yet, but this is her best chance to live.
So please please please keep Vixen in your thoughts and prayers today. This little family has been through so much! Also keep Husky House's dedicated volunteers in your thoughts. They do SO much for these guys.
Between the Musketeers, Kiska, Mistletoe and the 8 christmas miracles, the vet bills are well over $50,000, so please consider donating to Husky House. No amount is too small. Its tax deductible, and the Huskies will thank you for it!!

The Christmas Miracles are here!!!
Mommy Mistletoe and all the kids are in NJ! They came from TN, and after a bath, a good meal, and warm spot to cuddle, they are sleeping comfortably. This is the first night in their little lives that they've ever slept inside, off of the cold hard concrete on soft clean blankets. They are about 5 weeks old, and as cute as they come!! Meet the Miracles!
The last of the Musketeers is gone
Baby Aramis passed away yesterday. Everyone who met the teeny little guy loved him. He fought a long hard battle for 4 weeks, but he was just too little, and had too much to overcome. He's running in the fields now, pain free, and without a care in the world. Run wild, little man, I loved you and will never forget you.

Prayers for Aramis
Late last night little Aramis became lethargic and nonresponive, so I rushed him to the 24 hour emergency hospital. His blood glucose was dangerously low, and they were able to get an IV catheter in his tiny leg, and get him stabilized. I just got a report from the doctor that he's doing better, but now having trouble maintaining his temperature. He'll be at the hospital for at least another day. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers that he can pull through this!!
